ToMA Children's Choir Starting Soon!
Our Toronto Music Alliance Children’s Choir is back for another season! Run by conductor Meredith Wanstall, this amazing program is available for kids ages 6-10, runs on Saturday afternoons, and is some of the most fun you’ll have.
The ToMA Children’s Choir provides an opportunity for children to learn fundamental musical skills in a group setting. Young musicians benefit from learning music they would not normally encounter in their lessons, with genres ranging from Classical to Broadway to Canadian Contemporary. Children can look forward to developing their singing tone, breath control, and ability to read music through fun games and activities, in addition to the engaging repertoire. Our singers also deepen their love of music through better pitch and rhythm awareness, improved listening skills, and - best of all - performing as part of a team, forming friendships for years to come.
Ms. Wanstall's breadth of experience through her years of both performing in many choirs as well as currently conducting the Bach Children's Chorus ensures all singers will have a positive, constructive and fun rehearsal and performance at ToMA Recitals.
