Children’s Choir

Please note: Our Children's Choir is now virtual as part of our Online Academy

The ToMA Children’s Choir, led by Meredith Wanstall, provides an opportunity for children to learn fundamental musical skills in a group setting. Young musicians benefit from learning music they would not normally encounter in their lessons, with genres ranging from Classical to Broadway to Canadian Contemporary. Children can look forward to developing their singing tone, breath control, and ability to read music through fun games and activities, in addition to the engaging repertoire. Our singers also deepen their love of music through better pitch and rhythm awareness, improved listening skills, and - best of all - performing as part of a team, forming friendships for years to come.

Ms. Wanstall's breadth of experience through her years of both performing in many choirs as well as currently conducting the Bach Children's Chorus ensures all singers will have a positive, constructive and fun rehearsal and performance at ToMA Recitals. This fun opportunity is open to all students ages 6-13.

Rehearsal are on Saturday mornings from 10-11 via Google Meet. There are two sessions that will be running this year, September through January, then February through June.

We look forward to hearing this beautiful music come to life!
